Collaboration With Debian/GNU Project

The Mission

Nexenta Community would like to make Nexenta Operating System the official port of Debian/GNU to the OpenSolaris Core.

Nexenta Community would like to reduce number of patches needed for debian packages to cleanly build on Nexenta Operating System.

How to get there

We are planning to provide public root access to the machines with fully configured OpenSolaris Nexenta Zones for Debian Developers who are willing to test their packages and ensure that they build cleanly.
