Randy Bias, Cloudscaling Founder

Since 1990, Randy has driven innovations in infrastructure, IT, operations, and 24×7 service delivery. He was the technical visionary at GoGrid and built the world’s first multi-cloud, multi-platform cloud management framework at CloudScale Networks. He led the open-licensing of GoGrid's API, which inspired Sun Microsystems, Rackspace Cloud, VMware and others to open-license their cloud APIs.Randy most recently served as the vice president of technology strategy at GoGrid, and was responsible for providing tactical and strategic vision around all technology for the GoGrid cloud computing platform. Randy's voice can be heard through the Cloudscaling blog, which has tens of thousands of page views monthly.

Vic Mahadevan, Entrepreneur

Vic Mahadevan was the Chief Strategy Officer for NetApp. In this role, Vic was responsible for leading NetApp's business strategy and identifying additional market and product opportunities to fuel future growth. He led the company’s strategic planning and business development activities worldwide. Vic was also responsible for driving the strategic planning process,managing acquisitions, and supporting NetApp’s strategic alliances and partnership teams.

Before joining NetApp, Vic served as vice president of marketing for LSI Corporation, where he was responsible for driving all aspects of product management, outbound marketing and business alliances. Prior to LSI Corporation, Vic was chief executive officer for Deeya Energy. He has also held senior management positions with leading storage and systems management companies including BMC Software, Compaq, Ivita, and Maxxan Systems.

Vic holds an MBA in Marketing and MS in Engineering from the University of Iowa as well a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology.

Bill Moore, co-creator of ZFS

Bill co-led the team that delivered Sun Microsystems’ innovative ZFS file system and served as chief engineer for its Storage Server group, where he designed Sun's next-generation storage servers. Earlier in his career, Bill helped found 3PAR (NYSE: PAR) in 1999, where he was involved in every aspect of the overall hardware and software design.

Sam Pullara, Twitter

Sam Pullar, of Twitter, was the CTO/CEO and a co-founder of Bagcheck, the best place to list the things you use to do your favorite activities and share them with your social network. Bagcheck was sold to Twitter in 2011. Sam also spent time at Yahoo! as chief technologist, where he was responsible for Yahoo!’s product and technology strategy across the organization. In addition to his time at Yahoo!, Sam has spent a significant part of his career building other successful start-up companies.
